about dearcalm

a breathing room, wherever you are.

dearcalm is a free digital space for breathing, gentle movement and soulful sound — made to widen practical access to the kind of care that is too often gated behind price, place or membership.

what dearcalm is

dearcalm brings three simple things into one calm place: breathe — guided breathing with rhythm, voice and ambient sound; move — gentle flows and mobility sequences; and listen — dearcalm radio, soundscapes and spoken-word guidance from artists across the diaspora.

it is not a course to complete or a streak to maintain. it is a room you can step into for a few minutes, in your own language, and leave a little lighter.

who makes it

dearcalm is offered by happy sunday, an initiative of the birthright project. the work sits inside a simple belief: stillness is sustenance, movement is medicine, and prosperity — including the everyday prosperity of a calm nervous system — is a human right.

where dearcalm sits

one room in a global house.

happy sunday is the everyday-wellbeing collective of the birthright project — which builds economic dignity across culture, care and finance. dearcalm is one of its rooms, made alongside sister ventures in creative enterprise and financial autonomy, across connected communities on four continents.

the access model

the core experience is free where stated — breathing, movement, radio and the poster maker's digital downloads. dearcalm also offers tools for the people who deliver practice (see dearcalm studio) and a small line of physical goods, which help sustain the free tools. nothing essential is placed behind a paywall.

questions

is dearcalm really free?

the breathing room, movement flows, dearcalm radio and digital poster downloads are free. framed prints and physical goods are paid, and they help keep the free tools running.

do i need an account?

no. you can breathe, move, listen and download a poster without signing in. an account only becomes useful when you want to save classes in dearcalm studio or request a branded room — features built for instructors and spaces.

what languages does dearcalm speak?

guidance and poster phrases are offered across eight mother tongues, with more in development. languages still being built are labelled honestly rather than shown as ready.

i run a studio or teach — is this for me?

yes. dearcalm studio is a free workspace to build classes, teach with voice and sound, and launch your own dearcalm-powered room.

how can i support the work?

you can support dearcalm with a one-time contribution, or share it with someone who needs a few quiet minutes.
